West Ham have reignited their interest in AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca, according to reports in Italy.
The Hammers have been working on a move for the Colombian for over a month but talks have cooled in recent weeks, with reports suggesting the Hammers’ hopes relied on maintaining their status in Europe.
However, according to Calciomercato, West Ham are back in for the 29-year-old after being given signs of encouragement that a deal can be struck.
West Ham had been able to meet Milan’s £25m asking price, but negotiations had stalled over personal terms with Bacca.
Given the amount of groundwork that has already been put into the transfer, it is reported that talks could progress quickly and a conclusion could be found within the next 10 days.
