West Brom have signed Nacer Chadli from Tottenham, the Premier League club have announced.
The 27-year-old winger, capped 32 times by Belgium, has signed a four-year deal with the Baggies and arrives at the Hawthorns for an undisclosed fee, which is reported to be a club record of £13million
Speaking after the completion of the deal, Chadli told wba.co.uk: “I feel very good to be here. It came very quickly but I spoke to the Club and they have a good team, a good manager and I am very pleased to be here.
“My ambitions? I just want to help the team win as many games as possible.”
Chadli leaves Spurs having played 119 games for the North London club, scoring 25 goals and registering 16 assists in that spell.
He arrived at White Hart Lane in the summer of 2013, but failed to make any of Tottenham’s three matchday squads this season, and his move to the Hawthorns makes the winger West Brom’s second permanent signing of the summer, following the deal for QPR’s Matt Phillips.
