Hull City are among the Premier League clubs said to be showing an interest in Toulouse forward Martin Braithwaite.
The 25-year-old impressed for a struggling Toulouse side last season, netting 11 goals as they just managed to beat the drop in the French top-flight.
His performances have been noted by a number of clubs with the Tigers, Sunderland and Crystal Palace all said to be keen to sign him but it is West Ham that have made the first move.
Braithwaite is so keen on a move to the Premier League that he is training in England to help secure a move this summer.
Toulouse want £4million for the Denmark international, but West Ham have offered just £2.5million and that could open the door for Tigers boss Steve Bruce to nip in and match the valuation.
