Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew is reported to be showing an interest in FC Twente central defender Joachim Andersen.
Scott Dann and Damien Delaney have been Palace’s regular pairing in the heart of the defence this season, but Pardew is keen to inject some youth into his ranks this summer.
Andersen is just 19 but has still managed to force his way into the Twente side on a regular basis and his form has not gone unnoticed at Selhurst Park.
Reports in the Dutch press suggest Palace are leading the race for his signature and may be able to take advantage of Twente’s financial problems.
Twente will be unable to resist any substantial bid for the talented youngster, who could be heading to Selhurst Park over the summer.
