Stoke are reported to have joined the queue of clubs who are showing an interest in Udinese midfielder Jakub Jankto.
The Czech Republic Under-21 international was the subject of interest from Arsenal last season while on loan with Serie B side Ascoli, with the Gunners having him scouted on several occasions for club and country.
Bournemouth and Leicester are also keen to sign the 20-year-old, after informing Udinese they are ready to make an offer when the transfer window reopens, while Stoke have also been linked.
The Italians are keen to see Jankto stay but feel it is unlikely he will sign a new contract and are therefore ready to sell in January, putting an £8million price tag on his head.
Stoke now have to decide whether to launch a bid in the January window or they could decide to wait until his deal with Udinese expires at the end of this season.
