Crystal Palace’s £27m record signing Christian Benteke will be assessed before manager Alan Pardew decides whether to give him a debut against Blackpool.

Goalkeeper Steve Mandanda could also make his first start for the club.

Blackpool manager Gary Bowyer will be without four attacking players.

Danny Philliskirk (ankle), Jamille Matt (knee), Jack Redshaw (shin) and Kyle Vassell (thigh) are all sidelined.
