Crystal Palace 2 Watford 1: Wickham header helps Pardew’s men book place in FA Cup final

It was only his sixth goal of the season and his first since he scored in a 2-2 draw against Sunderland on March 1st.


Zaha and then Wickham again were denied in quick succession as Palace tried to turn the screw, but Odion Ighalo wasted a half-chance for Watford soon afterwards.

By the end Pardew was conducting the Palace fans as they cheered their team on. He will get a chance to avenge 1990 after all.
