Crystal Palace 1 Bournemouth 1: Late Scott Dann equaliser rescues Alan Pardew’s men

“It looked like I had changed 11 players. We should have been in front before we scored. It was as good a second half as I’ve seen here.

“Christian is lacking some sharpness. He couldn’t have done any more with the energy levels and games he’s had. On another day he would have got a couple goals.”

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe said: “It’s a difficult one to take. We were very good in the first half and scored a very good goal.

“We were then put under a lot of pressure in the second half and couldn’t hold out. The only disappointment from our point of view is that we should have been more than one in front by half-time.”
