Stoke striker Peter Crouch is ready to walk away from the Britannia Stadium in the summer as he struggles for regular action.
Crouch, who was once Stoke’s record signing at £10million, has made just two Premier League appearances this season, and that is nowhere near enough as far as the striker is concerned.
The 35-year-old was the subject of interest from clubs in the Championship during the January transfer window, but he ended up staying with the Potters.
However, enough is enough and Crouch is now ready to move on.
“I make no bones about it, it has been a frustrating season for me and I’ve not been involved anywhere near as much as I would have liked,” Crouch told the Mirror.
“What’s frustrating is that I still feel the same as I did four or five years ago, so it has been frustrating that I have not been given the opportunities.
“I still feel like I’ve got plenty to offer and I know I’m probably not going to start 38 Premier League games, but I do need to play more than I have been.”
