Cresswell signs new West Ham deal

Cresswell won the Player of the Year award at West Ham in his debut season after joining from Ipswich Town in 2014

Aaron Cresswell has signed a one-year contract extension with West Ham, taking his current deal to 2021.

The 26-year-old defender joins team-mates Michail Antonio, Dimitri Payet, Adrian, and Cheikhou Kouyate in committing his future to the club.

The former Ipswich Town full-back has made 89 appearances for the Hammers, scoring four goals.

“I’ve been here for two years now and I’m looking forward to the next five seasons now that I’ve signed,” he said.
