Swansea midfielder Jack Cork has declared himself fit to face Premier League leaders Leicester City this weekend.
Cork suffered a minor facial injury after being struck by the ball during the 3-0 defeat against Newcastle on Saturday, but still managed to see out the clash at St James’ Park.
The midfielder sat out training on Tuesday and will re-join the rest of his team-mates today as they prepare to make the trip to the King Power Stadium.
“I was a little bit dazed when the ball struck my face, which you can imagine was hit at some force,” Cork told the club’s website. “But I had the tests to ensure I was okay, which I was, and I managed to finish the game without any problems.
“We had a few days off after the game and I’ll be back in training on Wednesday. That means I’ll be fit and available for selection for Sunday.”
