Paris Saint-Germain star Edinson Cavani is reported to be on Chelsea’s radar as Antonio Conte continues to be linked with strikers.
The Blues have already brought in striker Michy Batshuayi from Marseille this summer but it would seem that Conte wants to bolster his attacking options further.
Diego Costa has been tipped to make a return to Atletico Madrid and despite the fact Conte has insisted he is staying, he is lining up possible replacements just in case.
According to reports in Conte’s native Italy, the former Juventus boss has targeted Cavani, 29, and there have even been claims Chelsea have lodged a 50million euros offer.
However, PSG are keen to keep hold having seen Zlatan Ibrahimovic depart at the end of the season and it remains to be seen as to whether or not the French champions will be open to selling the Uruguay international.
Everton striker Romelu Lukaku is also a target, but again any move will hinge on what happens regards Costa.
