Antonio Conte is reported to be lining up a move for Juventus star Leonardo Bonucci as he looks to rebuild his Chelsea defence.
Chelsea are on the look out for at least one new central defender as John Terry heads for the exit door and it seems as though Conte has set his sights on Bonucci.
Bonucci has played under Conte at Juve and for the Italian national team, so it comes as no surprise to see him linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
The central defender has also refused to completely rule out a move to Chelsea in the summer, and when asked if he could head to England, replied: “I haven’t said anything yet, the question hasnÂ’t been asked so I can’t say either yes or no.”
Reports have also claimed that Conte could be targeting a double swoop on the Italian champions, as Boncucci’s defensive partner, Andrea Barzagli, is also said to be a target.
