Tottenham are said to be leading the race to sign AZ Alkmaar striker Vincent Janssen, but there are plenty of other clubs interested.
Spurs were reported to be in the race for the striker last week but both West Ham and Manchester United are also very keen on Janssen, who joined the Dutch outfit last summer and enjoyed a sensational debut season scoring 27 goals in 34 league outings.
The Holland international also played a pivotal role in his first international start back in March, scoring and providing an assist in the 2-1 victory over England.
Marseille’s Michy Batshuayi and Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette have also been linked with a move to Spurs, but again West Ham and Manchester United have been linked and the trio could battle it between them, although Premier League champions Leicester City and Arsenal have also linked.
Tottenham finished third in the table this season and they are hoping to add some strength to their squad as they look to mount a challenge for both the league title and the Champions League.
