Clinton N’Jie, Suso, Gael Kakuta and other Premier League flops impressing in Europe

Clinton N’Jie has been making a name for himself with Marseille this season.

N’Jie, the Cameroon winger, signed a permanent deal with l’OM over the summer having spent last term with the club on a loan deal from Spurs, and he has scored an impressive five goals in as many Ligue 1 games since the start of 2017/18.

This is the kind of form Tottenham wanted from the forward, now 24, when they signed him from Lyon in the summer of 2015.

Instead, they got a player who contributed little, and spent a large part of his lone season in north London out injured.

N’Jie is just one Premier League flop who is now impressing abroad, and has taken a look at other players doing exactly the same – see who features by clicking the arrow above, right.
