Ranieri said he didn’t feel his side’s barnstorming campaign was revenge for those who questioned him after his sacking as manager of the Greek national side.
He added: “It’s not revenge. I am the same man.
“If I was stupid then, I’m stupid now because I’m exactly the same.”
Swansea boss Francesco Guidolin paid tribute to Ranieri’s side, describing them as the strongest team in the division.
Guidolin said: “They deserve to win the title.
“They have a fantastic team, fantastic ground and fantastic supporters. I’m happy for Claudio.”
