Mario Balotelli is the gift that keeps on giving.
The former Liverpool and Manchester City striker – now at Ligue 1 side Nice – scored a late goal to give his side a 2-1 victory over Lorient. But that was just the start.
He celebrated by taking his shirt off – a cheap 87th minute booking. Then in the second minute of added time, the Italian was shown a second yellow card. Classic Balotelli.
But his goal was a worthy match winner. The 26-year-old receives the ball in the box, takes a touch, drops his shoulder and comes inside before curling the ball in the far corner – his talent is undoubted.
He now has six goals in five appearances this term.
