Stoke are reported to be closing in on a move for Manchester City youngster Tyrese Campbell after he impressed at the weekend.
Potters boss Mark Hughes is keen to bolster his ranks with a striker that can slot straight into his side, but he also has one eye on the future and is keen on Campbell.
The 16-year-old is the son of former Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell and he could be on the move from City as his route to the first-team is a difficult one.
Reports claim Campbell has already turned down the offer of a new deal at the Etihad Stadium, and that could open the door for Stoke to swoop in.
Campbell appeared for the Potters in a friendly clash against Rhyl at the weekend when he came off the bench to replace Jon Walters and a deal looks to be imminent.
