Eriksen signed a new contract recently, and Danny Rose became the latest of Tottenham’s young stars to follow suit yesterday, after Eric Dier and Dele Alli committed their future to Spurs, by signing a new five-year deal.
The Dane says it shows the belief that Mauricio Pochettino has instilled in his young side, saying: “Everyone is on top of their game and wants to improve what we did last season.
“All of the main players are still here, which is important, and we now have more.
“As a team we have a really bright future so a lot of players have signed new deals because we want to stay a part of it.
“There is something special to build on and I think that’s why everybody wants to sign.”
Rose said of his new deal: “At the minute I wouldn’t wish for anything more than to play for Spurs for the rest of my career.
“Everyone knows that the club is going in the right direction and I’m over the moon that I’ll stay here until I’m an old man!”
