Besiktas are hoping to land Liverpool outcast Christian Benteke on loan, according to reports in Turkey.
The big Belgian has fallen out of favour at Anfield and is expected to leave this summer, although so far no clubs have met Liverpool’s £32million asking price.
And now, according to Lig TV, Liverpool may agree to letting him go on loan to get him off the wage bill for the season.
And that idea will appeal to Besiktas who have been linked with the forward during this window.
Crystal Palace are also admirers of the 25-year-old and have money to spend having sold the likes of Yannick Bolasie, who moved to Everton for £30m, this summer.
Palace may also attempt to bring him in on loan should Jurgen Klopp allow him to leave temporarily.
