Norwich could lose out to Premier League rivals Bournemouth in the race to sign talented non-league striker Ashley Nadesan.
The Canaries were believed to be leading the race to sign the 22-year-old, who has netted a massive 55 goals this season, and 97 in the past two campaigns for Horley Town.
Nadesan was due to spend a week training with the Canaries, but it has now been revealed that Cherries boss Eddie Howe has stolen a march on Alex Neil.
The striker has now gone to Dean Court for a week’s trial and it gives the Cherries an opportunity to take a closer look at the player, who had a similar spell at Millwall.
Whether he will head to Norwich next remains to be seen, but it looks as though Bournemouth could now be in the box seat.
