Incoming Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has held talks with Roma defender Kostas Manolas, according to reports in Italy.
The former Juventus boss was announced as the new manager at Stamford Bridge this week and will take over after Euro 2016.
The Italian has already ready set about revamping his squad and Chelsea have been linked with a host of top players.
Manolas, according to Calciomercato, is the latest to be targeted and Conte has spoken to the player about moving this summer.
The centre-back was a target for Arsenal back in 2014, but he eventually left Olympiakos for Roma.
Chelsea, though, are now ready to test the Italian’s club resolve to keep hold of the Greece international with an offer this summer.
