“The youngsters loved it. They can learn a lot from him and can accelerate their careers by having an eye on someone big like Lampard.”

Hiddink also revealed he has had discussions over staying at Stamford Bridge despite Antonio Conte replacing him at the end of the season.

He added: “We have talked about this and the problem of ageing,” he added.
