Radja Nainggolan says he isn’t looking to leave Roma this summer but reports in London claim Chelsea will continue to push for a deal.
When quizzed on his Roma future at Belgium’s Euro 2016 training camp, the attacking midfielder revealed he had assured Roma president James Pallotta he is not looking to leave the Serie A club.
However, GetWestLondon have claimed Chelsea will maintain their attempts to snare Nainggolan regardless, submitting a fresh 35million euros offer.
New Chelsea boss Antonio Conte held talks with the 28-year-old prior to Euro 2016, with the Italian in charge of his country until the end of the tournament, and seemingly remains hopeful a deal can be done.
Roma are unlikely to accept Chelsea’s latest offer given the player’s desire to stay but the Italian giants may be tempted if a bigger bid from Stamford Bridge is lodged.
