Chelsea have joined Paris Saint-Germain in the chase for Euro 2016-winning Portugal star Joao Mario.
The Sporting Lisbon playmaker, 23, shone for Portugal throughout the tournament and is now being tracked by a number of clubs across Europe.
Manchester United and Inter Milan have also expressed an interest in Mario but it is PSG and Chelsea who look set to battle it out for his signature.
According to Record, Chelsea are prepared to fork out £34m for Mario, who impressed new manager Antonio Conte during the Euros.
Mario is not expected back at Sporting until August but could cut short his holidays if either Chelsea or PSG have an offer accepted by the Portuguese club.
