Marek Hamsik’s agent has rubbished talk that his client is ready to quit Napoli for Chelsea or Manchester United.
The midfielder has been impressive at Euro 2016 so far, scoring a stunning goal on Wednesday during Slovakia’s 2-1 win over Russia.
Chelsea and Manchester United are now reportedly keeping tabs on the 28-year-old as they look to bolster their squads for the new Premier League season.
However Hamsik’s agent, Juraj Venglos, has rubbished speculation his client is off to England and instead revealed he is to hold talks with Napoli about a new contract.
“Hamsik is already at a big club,” Venglos told Radio Crc.
“In the coming days I’ll meet [Napoli president Aurelio] De Laurentiis and [sporting director Cristiano] Giuntoli, but I can’t say any more at the moment.
“Since the talks haven’t happened yet, I can’t be any more precise.”
