Chelsea and Manchester City have been told by Juventus that defender Leonardo Bonucci is not for sale this summer.
Incoming Chelsea manager Antonio Conte had hoped he could persuade the Italy international to join him at Stamford Bridge next season to become a long-term replacement for John Terry.
City are also on the lookout for centre-backs this summer and had placed Bonucci at the top of their wish-list.
However, according to Tuttosport, Juventus have told the Premier League duo not to bother with any bids this summer.
Bonucci, who signed for Juve from Bari in 2010 and is approaching 200 Serie A appearances for the Old Lady and is set to win his fourth league title with the club this season.
