Chelsea are set to swoop for Lazio and Italy midfielder Antonio Candreva, who has impressed new boss Antonio Conte at Euro 2016.
Candreva has been attracting interest from a number of clubs across Europe and Chelsea are now hoping to beat off any competition.
Inter Milan are reportedly big admirers but due to Financial Fair Play parameters they are struggling to match the 25million Euros asking price.
Italy boss Conte, who is set to take charge at Stamford Bridge after Euro 2016, a tournament his nation are 10/1 to win with Titan Bet, has started the Lazio man in both of the Azzurri’s group games in France this month, and is now ready to bring him in for the domestic campaign.
The 29-year-old is a versatile midfielder and can play anywhere across the middle third, while he also has goals in his locker.
The Lazio man scored 12 times in 44 games for the Serie A club last term and has netted at least 10 goals in each of the last three seasons.
