Nathan Redmond has turned down the offer of a new contract at Norwich as he bids to push through a move to Stoke.
The 22-year-old has just 12 months left to run on his existing deal at Carrow Road and the Canaries had been desperate to see him extend his stay in Norfolk after an excellent end to last season.
Redmond followed up his strong showings for Norwich by helping England’s Under-21s win the Toulon Tournament and, upon his return to France, is now eager to sort out his club future.
The winger has shunned the offer of a new deal from Norwich as he wants to stay in the Premier League and Stoke appear the favourites to land Redmond, who is set to command a fee in the region of £10million.
According to reports, Norwich are currently in no position to discuss the terms of Redmond’s sale due to the boardroom upheaval at Carrow Road following chief executive David McNally’s decision to quit towards the end of last season.
