Sudanese migrant Mohamed, 18, said: “It is my dream to reach England and I will try every day.”

Eritrean Dawit, 18, said: “I want to get to the UK. I want money and freedom. It’s dangerous here and I might get killed but I try.”

Algerian Samir, 25, added: “The Jungle is full of mafia and guns.

“They demand money for a place on a truck and will kill. It is a very dangerous place.”

Migrants said people smugglers were now charging £850 for a crossing before the Jungle is flattened.
