Liverpool are reported to be stepping up their interest in Crystal Palace midfielder Yohan Cabaye ahead of a summer swoop.
Cabaye impressed in the first half of the campaign after arriving from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, but like Palace, his form has dipped since the turn of the year.
The Frenchman scored from the penalty spot as the Eagles booked their place in the FA Cup semi-finals with a 2-0 win against Reading, but that is not stopping rumours suggesting he is unsettled and could look to move on.
Liverpool are believed to be leading the race to sign the 30-year-old as Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is planning a squad overhaul in the close season.
Palace boss Alan Pardew will not entertain the idea of cashing in on the Frenchman, but there is a good chance his resolve could be tested when the transfer window re-opens.
West Ham are also known to be keen after previously losing out to Palace for his signature.
