Bristol City’s Luke Ayling will be available after being cleared of his involvement in indecent behaviour at Cheltenham Festival.

Korey Smith (ankle) is likely to have his return delayed until after the international break.

Bolton interim manager Jimmy Phillips will be without Liam Feeney, who has been sent out on loan to Ipswich.

Jay Spearing may not feature as another appearance would trigger a bonus payment to Liverpool.

  • The Robins have won only one of their last eight meetings in all competitions, losing five (D2).
