Arsenal ace Wilshere snubbed Roma, AC Milan and Crystal Palace to become the biggest signing in the Cherries’ history by joining on a season’s loan.
And Cherries boss Howe has promised the England midfielder, 24, a regular spot in the side IF he can stay fit.
Howe said: “We would never make promises that players will get a certain amount of game time but with Jack’s quality that if he is fit and available he will be in the team.
“We will see whether he is available for West Brom. I don’t want to make any assumptions. We will see how fit his is and we need to maintain that fitness.
“A high profile name and someone who is regarded as the very best in his position can only help the players we have here and raise their game to new levels.
