Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew says he is still in the hunt for another striker despite landing Christian Benteke.
The Eagles have smashed their transfer record to land Benteke from Liverpool in a deal worth £27million, but Pardew does not want to stop there.
Pardew still only has Benteke and Connor Wickham as recognised out-and-out strikers, and he would love to get another one on board before the transfer window closes.
West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino is still a target, but it remains to be seen if a deal can be hammered out with the Baggies, while Stoke are also keen.
When asked if he would like to bring in another striker, Pardew said: “Yes I think so, just someone to complement Connor [Wickham] and what Christian is going to do for us.”
