Swansea boss Francesco Guidolin is confident the Welsh outfit can beat the drop as they head into tonight’s clash with Arsenal.
The Swans are just three points ahead of the relegation zone with 11 games remaining but they can take heart from the fact they have a good record at the Emirates Stadium, winning two and drawing one of the last four visits.
Guidolin admits their position in the table does not look great but believes he has a squad capable of pulling away from trouble over the coming weeks.
“Our (position in the) table is not good – this is a problem,” Guidolin told the club’s website. “We are a little bit worried because this season is not easy, but my opinion is that we have the possibility to play well in the last part of the season.
“I am confident. Since I came here, I have seen my team play well in many games and so I think we can finish the season very well. We have to survive this season.
“That’s our target. We have to think match by match. We know we have a battle for three months but I am positive.”
