Swansea striker Borja has vowed to get among the goals and start to repay his £15.5million fee after returning to fitness.
Borja was a revelation for Eibar in La Liga last season and his form convinced the Swans to break their transfer record to bring him to the Liberty Stadium this summer.
However, much to the frustration of everyone, injuries have prevented the striker from making an impact after he picked up a thigh problem just days after signing on the dotted line.
Borja is now back to fitness and has pledged to get among the goals once he gets his sharpness back.
“I scored 18 goals for Eibar last season and hopefully I can do something similar this year,” the 24-year-old told the club’s website ahead of the Liverpool game.
“Last year was a great season for me. This season I’ve been unlucky to miss a month and a half already with injury.
“What concerns me the most right now is to start playing regular football with the team, to fully recover and get my match fitness up.
“When that happens, I think the goals will come.”
