Stoke look to have been priced out of a move for Wilfried Bony following reports Arsenal could offer £30million for the striker.
Potters boss Mark Hughes is on the look-out for a new striker and reports have suggested he could turn his attention to the Manchester City star as his attempts to land Saido Berahino continue to stall.
However, Arsenal are also in the hunt with reports claiming Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is ready to offer £30million for the Ivory Coast international.
Such figures are likely to put Stoke out of the running, while the player himself is likely to favour a move to the Emirates Stadium, should Wenger make a move.
Bony is keen to leave Manchester in search of more regular first-team football and is sure to jump at the chance of a move to the Emirates Stadium, where Olivier Giroud is the only recognised out-and-out striker.
