Everton could be ready to sell John Stones to Manchester City but reports claim they want striker Wilfried Bony as part of the deal.
City are keen to strike a deal for Stones and reports are rife that football director Txiki Begiristain has already spoken to Everton boss Ronald Koeman about a potential £50million transfer.
The two know each other from their time at Barcelona and talks are taking place with a view to agreeing a fee for Stones, who is keen to play Champions League football next season.
It has now been suggested that Koeman wants Bony included in the deal, something City will be more than happy with as he does not feature in the plans of Pep Guardiola.
Now the only problem that needs ironing out, is just how much Bony is valued at, so it can be deducted off Everton’s £50million valuation of Stones.
The Everton board would prefer a straight cash deal, but Koeman wants a new striker, and sees it as the perfect chance to land one of his top targets, Bony.
