Swansea will face competition from Turkish outfit Besiktas if they wish to re-sign Wilfried Bony, reports have claimed.
Bony looks to be heading for the exit door after failing to make the grade at the Etihad Stadium following his £25million switch from Swansea, and a return could be on the cards.
Swansea are still owed a large portion of the £25million and it is thought City would be happy to wipe that out by sending Bony back to the Liberty Stadium.
However reports now claim that Besiktas could throw a spanner in the works by offering the striker a big-money deal to move to Turkey instead.
Swansea will be armed with their largest transfer kitty yet following the American takeover, but they could still struggle to compete with big-spending Besiktas.
Bony could prefer to stay in the Premier League, which would swing things in Bony’s favour.
