The Eagles secured a 2-0 quarter-final win against Reading on Friday night to book their place in the semi-finals at Wembley.

Goals from Yohan Cabaye and Frazier Campbell ensured they progressed and Bolasie is now looking forward to playing at the national stadium.

He was denied the chance to play there when Palace last played at Wembley in 2013 but the midfielder is now confident that his team can go all the way this year.

The 26-year-old said: “It means a lot to myself, personally (to get the opportunity to return there). I didnÂ’t get a chance, but hopefully now IÂ’ll get the chance to play there. Providing I stay injury-free.

“IÂ’ve always wanted to get to Wembley. WeÂ’ve been unlucky in the Cup over the last three years and now is a chance for us to resurrect it in the semi-final. I can see it from my mumÂ’s house so all my family is going to be there and hopefully itÂ’s a good day and we can get a win against whoever we play against.

“Getting into the semi-finals, anything can happen. IÂ’ve got a feeling this year.”
