Yannick Bolasie is travelling to Merseyside to undergo a medical ahead of a £30m move to Everton from Crystal Palace, reports claim.
Palace boss Alan Pardew admitted after his side’s 1-0 defeat against West Brom on Saturday that Bolasie was heading for the exit door, and that is likely to happen sooner rather than later.
The 27-year-old winger will become the Toffees’ record-signing should the deal go through, after the clubs agreed a fee surpassing the £28m Everton paid Chelsea for Romelu Lukaku in 2014.
It is understood the fee could rise to £30m if all incentives are met.
Bolasie – a France-born DR Congo international capped 27 times – has been with Palace for four years since a move from Bristol City and was part of the squad promoted to the Premier League in 2013.
Everton started the season with a 1-1 draw at home to Tottenham, after which manager Ronald Koeman admitted he was hoping to bring in two or three new players as soon as possible, and Bolasie will be one of them.
