Stoke City may look to sign West Brom’s Saido Berahino if Bojan leaves the club this month.
The Potters are believed to be in talks with Premier League rivals Middlesbrough about a potential deal for the Spaniard, who has been told he is not in Mark Hughes’ long-term plans.
A switch to the Riverside could open up space in Hughes’ squad for a new forward and the Welshman is known to be a fan of Berahino.
The wantaway Baggies’ star has not featured for his club since September and has spent much of the intervening period at a special training camp in France in a bid to improve his fitness.
Berahino’s contract at the Hawthorns expires in the summer and it is believed that Hughes may look to make his move in January if he manages to sell Bojan, who himself has admitted that he is looking for a fresh start.
