AC Milan could give Chelsea the green light to sign Carlos Bacca in January if they can have Cesc Fabregas in exchange.

Blues boss Antonio Conte is believed to be wanting another attacking option at Stamford Bridge despite drafting in Belgium international starlet Michy Batshuayi during the summer transfer window.

And Bacca, who was believed to be on West Ham boss Slaven Bilic’s shopping list, has now been heavily linked with a switch in the winter.

The 30-year-old Colombia international has already grabbed four goals in Serie A this season, including a hat-trick on the opening day against Torino.

However, reports in Italy claim the Rossoneri could be tempted to offload Bacca to Chelsea if they can have Spain international star Fabregas as part of the deal.

The 29-year-old former Arsenal and Barcelona man is clearly not in the plans of Conte as he has featured in three Premier League games so far, with all of his appearances coming off the bench.

Fabregas could be willing to move to Italy in search of regular first-team football and Chelsea would no doubt be willing to let him leave if they can get Bacca on board in the process.
