John Stones and Romelu Lukaku still look like being the most likely big-name departures from Everton, with Man City and Chelsea keen.
The Toffees are preparing for a summer of change at Goodison Park as the club is on the lookout for a new manager following the recent sacking of Roberto Martinez.
As is usually the case when a new boss comes in, several first-team players will then likely move on and Lukaku and Stones are tipped to be the biggest names to leave the Blues.
Striker Lukaku has made it clear he wants out and is ideally after a switch to a club playing Champions League football. However, a return to Chelsea remains a possibility, even if the west Londoners are without European football next term, although they view Everton’s current asking price of over £50million as excessive.
The Belgium international is also interesting Manchester United and Bayern Munich, while several other top European clubs – the likes of Juventus, Barcelona, PSG and Real Madrid – are also keeping an eye on his situation.
Stones, meanwhile, remains a Chelsea target after they failed to land him 12 months ago, while incoming Man City boss Pep Guardiola is also a fan of the England international.
Soon-to-be-appointed United boss Jose Mourinho may also make him a priority after chasing Stones when he was in charge at Stamford Bridge.
