Blackburn Rovers expect to have Northern Ireland international Corry Evans back in their squad after two matches out with an ankle problem.

Tony Watt is likely to return up front after Elliott Bennett replaced him for Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Burnley.

Birmingham midfielder Stephen Gleeson came through Thursday’s 1-0 win over Hull without aggravating a rib injury.

But striker James Vaughan, yet to score since joining on loan in January, is still out with a calf injury.

  • Blackburn are unbeaten in four against Birmingham City, winning two.
  • Birmingham have never kept a clean sheet at Blackburn in 56 previous attempts (league only).
  • Rovers have won their past three home league games, but have not won four in a row at Ewood Park since February 2010.
  • Blues have kept six clean sheets in their past eight Championship games.
  • Blackburn have scored a league-high 61% of their goals from set-pieces this season.
