Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce must decide whether to go back in for West Ham ace Diafra Sakho after he handed in a transfer request.
The Black Cats boss signed the striker two years ago from Metz in France when he was in charge at the Hammers and wanted to re-sign the 26-year-old at the start of the summer.
Sunderland had an £11m offer turned down by the Hammers and may move again now he has put in a transfer request.
Current Hammers boss Slaven Bilic looks to have made a top striker his number one summer target and Sakho can see his chances of first-team football getting slimmer by the day.
Sakho has scored 15 goals in 43 Premier League matches for the club but stayed in the UK, saying he was ill, when the rest of the West Ham squad flew to the US for their pre-season tour at the weekend. He still has two years left on his present deal.
