West Ham co-owner David Sullivan says only Leicester’s title surprise last season eclipsed the efforts of Slaven Bilic.
The Hammers played some exciting football in their last-ever season at the Boleyn Ground and finished off Slaven Bilic’s first year at the club with a place in next season’s Europa League.
Sullivan has been delighted with how Bilic has transformed the side into an attacking force and how well he has slotted into the role.
“I think overall he has done a very good job and we could not have asked for anymore from the manager,” Sullivan said.
“The best thing about Slaven is that when he makes a comment after the game you would virtually agree every time with what he says.
“He is honest, smart and has a very fair judgment. We hope next year we can do even better.
“Other than a Leicester miracle we could not have asked for a better season.”
