West Ham boss Slaven Bilic says the team have no particular target this season but they want to finish as high as they can.
The win over Sunderland means the Hammers are unbeaten in their last 13 at Upton Park, with Bilic’s side sixth in the Premier League – four points shy of the Champions League places.
Bilic though refuses to set his side any targets, although he does want them to continue playing entertaining football.
“We want to play entertaining football for the people to enjoy and that should improve because we are improving. It should also get us high up the table, where? I don’t know,” said Bilic, speaking ahead of Wednesday evening’s clash at home to Tottenham Hotspur
“We try to win every game, no matter who we play. There’s a long way to go this season. OK, for now, 43 points means we are in a good position.
“The only focus is to finish as high as possible. We don’t have any other goal than that, no specific target.”
