Watford are reportedly set to launch a bid for West Brom striker Saido Berahino this summer as they look to replace Odion Ighalo.
Ighalo has bagged 14 goals in his debut Premier League campaign and may still add to that tally with games against relegation-threatened Norwich and Sunderland left to play.
The NigerianÂ’s exploits have helped Watford steer clear of a scrap at the bottom of the table, however, it has also attracted interest from the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United.
Watford already appear resigned to losing their hitman and, according to reports, are preparing to launch a bid for Berahino.
The Baggies were involved in a fight to hold on to the striker last summer when Tottenham made three separate offers, all of which were knocked back.
Berahino will enter the final year of his contract next season and Watford are hoping they can secure a deal at a cut-price.
The 22-year-old has started just 17 Premier League games for West Brom this term due to a string of injuries and a fall out with boss Tony Pulis.
