Stoke and Crystal Palace will reportedly continue the battle to sign striker Saido Berahino from West Brom this week.
Now that Tottenham are out of the picture, it appears to be a straight battle between the Eagles and the Potters for the signature of the Albion striker.
Stoke appeared to be in the box seat after launching a £17million bid plus £3million of add ons, but Palace trumped it by offering £20million plus the same £3million in bonuses.
West Brom are delighted that a bidding war has started as reports are rife that Stoke will go back with another offer that will be closer to their £25million valuation.
The figures are quite staggering considering the youngster only has one year remaining on his current deal, but that will not concern the Baggies.
There is a good chance Palace and Stoke will both offer the same, then the final decision will come down to the player, who wants the move sorting as soon as possible.
